Subject D-44, nicknamed Dillon, is the Ranger Operator Series Black of the Ranger Operators. His operation number is five. He also has developed something of a rivalry with Scott, due to their very similarly stubborn and dominating personalities.

Ranger Key[]
The Ranger Black Key is Dillon's personal ranger key. This key along with the majority of the Core Ranger Keys are seen lining the Command Center's interior walls. This key is mainly used by Emma Goodall (Super Megaforce Pink) who uses it to fight as Ranger Black. It is also used by Amelia Jones (Dino Fury Pink Ranger).

- Dillon is the last Black Ranger in the Disney Era.
- He is also the last Black Ranger until Jake Holling from Power Rangers Megaforce.
- His personality is very similar to the other Black Ranger, Danny Delgado.
- The visor on Ranger Black's helmet resembles a "V".
- Dillon is the last Black Ranger not to work with a Pink Ranger until Javi Garcia of Cosmic Fury.
