Ethan James is the Blue Dino Ranger of the Dino Rangers. Ethan was a skilled hacker and computer expert at Reefside High School, whose pranks got him in trouble with Principal Randall. While serving detention with two other students (Conner McKnight and Kira Ford).

Ranger Key[]
The Blue Dino Ranger Key is Ethan's personal ranger key. This key along with the majority of the Core Ranger Keys are seen lining the Command Center's interior walls. This key is mainly used by Noah Carver (Super Megaforce Blue) who uses it to fight as the Blue Dino Ranger. It is also used by Ollie Akana (Dino Fury Blue Ranger).

- Ethan is the last Blue Ranger on a dinosaur-themed season to be based on a Triceratops until Ollie Akana from Power Rangers Dino Fury (The Dino Charge Blue Ranger instead has a Stegosaurus motif).
- He is the first male blue ranger since Max Cooper from Power Rangers Wild Force.
